This tank holds approximately 60 gallons of fuel, that’s 9 more gallons than competitor tanks and 29 more than OEM! The float’s empty position in the S&B Tank is the same as the OEM tank. Since the bottom surface area on the S&B Tank is larger, the 60-gallon tank has a greater fuel reserve.
This tank features a built-in sump which can be used for aftermarket lift pump installation if desired. S&B recommends aftermarket lift pumps be installed according to the pump manufacturer’s instructions only. The S&B sump will not cure typical “1/4 tank issues” common with aftermarket lift pumps.

Notes
- The nozzle at high-flow fuel stations(truck stops) will not be able to fill automatically. This tank holds approximately 60 gallons of fuel. The float’s empty position in the S&B Tank is the same as the OEM tank. Since the bottom surface area on the S&B Tank is larger, the 60 Gallon tank with have a greater fuel reserve.
- If your truck has the V shaped crossmember connected to the carrier-bearing crossmember(see important note in instructions), the S&B Tank will not fit with this in place.
- S&B Sump Fittings/Drain Plug fittings are required when using our sump feed/return port or after drilling out the bottom port to use as a drain. Fittings are under related products.
Warranty
Diesel Fuel Tanks
S&B replacement fuel tanks have a lifetime limited warranty for the original purchaser. If there is a problem with an S&B tank related to defect, materials or workmanship, S&B will replace it. All terms of the S&B Million Mile Limited Warranty also apply to S&B fuel tanks. Damage to an S&B fuel tank resulting from improper installation or use will not be covered by this warranty.
