Heat is the greatest cause of death for transmissions as it breaks down the fluid properties and can cause damage as great as needing to replace the transmission itself. Avoid this by fitting PPE’s Bar and plate style transmission cooler. Within each repeating section, the internal alternating square pattern (bars) slows the high-temperature fluid which creates a greater transfer of heat radiated through the thin sheet (plate) and cooled by the louvred aluminum fins.
