Thanks to multi-layer steel construction, this gasket will withstand the extreme temperatures and pressure generated by a turbo diesel engine, so you can count on it to last for a long time. It’s a direct replacement for the OE head gasket in your 2001-2010 GM Duramax Diesel LB7, LLY, LBZ, and LMM diesel engine.

A 5-layer stainless steel construction, combined with an adaptive fluoroelastomer (FKM) coating ensures a tight seal for each cylinder. That means fluids and gases both will be kept in their proper places, leading to smooth engine operation.
