This is the Chain for a GM NP261XHD or NP263XHD transfer case found in 2001 to 2007 Duramax vehicles. It connects the mainshaft to the front output shaft and allows for 4WD operation. This Chain fits only XHD manual and electrical shift models and measures 1.5″ wide with 42 links.

Notes

• A stretched, kinked, or damaged chain can cause excessive noise in the transfer case as well as damage other internal components in extreme cases. If the truck is used under extreme loads such as drag racing, sled pulling, serious off-roading, snow plowing, etc… and the transfer case is making some noise you may have a stretched or damaged chain.
• RTV Silicone required to seal the case halves when reassembling.
