P-51 Pneumatic 85 deg Main Retracts with Offset Strut for up to a 6″ Wheel (pair)
Unique, low-profile pneumatic retracts are now available for R/C planes that have wingspans of 80” to 100” and weight 20 to 40 pounds. These retracts are perfect for P-51 aircraft kits from Pica, Platt, Byron, Ziroli, and American Eagle. They’re constructed of aircraft grade materials such as 6061-T6 aluminum alloy side frames, 4130 chrome molly steel struts, and durable glass-filled nylon. Other features include positive up and down locks, triple-sealed 3/4” dia. bore air cylinder and a trunion with adjustments for tow-in and strut length. These gear also include heavy duty 1/4” diameter axles.
Gear door’s are easily mounted by attaching ball links to the the threaded (2-56) tubing, welded just above the torque link.
