The 26-gallon OEM tank that came in your Duramax is simply not enough – the S&B 10-1023 bumps your capacity to 62 Gallons with no cutting, drilling, or modifications and installs in under 4 hours. Not only does it over double your carrying capacity, but it also includes a premium OEM-style sending unit and features a built-in sump which can be used for aftermarket lift pump installation, if desired. S&B recommends aftermarket lift pumps be installed according to the pump manufacturer’s instructions only. The S&B sump will not cure typical “1/4 tank issues” common with aftermarket lift pumps

Notes
- Do you have an Auxiliary Fuel Tank? Read why using these with our tanks will void the Lifetime Warranty.
- The distance to empty (DTE) on GM trucks can’t be reprogrammed, so it will show about half the mileage that is really left. This occurs with all aftermarket high-capacity fuel tanks.
- This fuel tank fits 2001-2004 LB7 trucks only. 2004.5-up trucks with LLY, LBZ, and LMM engines use part number 10-1006.
- The nozzle at high-flow fuel stations(truck stops) will not be able to fill automatically.
- The bottom of the S&B tank has more surface area than the OE, so there will be a greater fuel reserve when the low fuel indicator comes on.
Warranty

S&B replacement fuel tanks have a lifetime limited warranty for the original purchaser. If there is a problem with an S&B tank related to defect, materials or workmanship, S&B will replace it. All terms of the S&B Million Mile Limited Warranty also apply to S&B fuel tanks. Damage to an S&B fuel tank resulting from improper installation or use will not be covered by this warranty.
