Trust the ARP 250-5802 when replacing the Main Studs in your 2011-2016 6.7L Powerstroke. ARP recommends the use of main studs over bolts whenever possible for a few key reasons – mainly as you receive more accurate torque readings as studs don’t “twist” into the block. All clamping forces are kept on one axis. Also, you’re exerting less force on your block threads which directly contributes to block life. Not to mention studs make for easier engine assembly and proper cap alignment every time.
