These Hamilton Cams Tappets at 1.45″ have a larger surface area that allows them to spread the load better. This is a huge benefit with today’s inferior oils. The 1.45″ Steel Tappets are for use on engines over 5000RPM with heavy valve springs, or a billet steel cam.
